LED's for winter

I’ve decided to try to fit some LED’s this weekend for better visibility when using my Burger this winter.
No I’m not decking it out with Christmas Lights just a couple of extra bright LED’s at the front and a few extra brake lights at the rear.
Has anyone done this? Have you got pics?

i decided to put two banks of 24 led`s around the cowling, they are very bright at night and can be seen from different angles in the day, had them on for nearly 2 years and happy with them

Thought of this but don't have the confidence to handle electrickery. I've explored these options:

that linky 2 is where i got mine from i used a couple of clamps where the upper cowling centre had two screws anyway, then i found this very very strong black double sided foam tape to run them down the cowlings, they are wired into the main lights and take very little current

If worried about wiring them up to feed them power, about the easiest thing to use are posi-taps (basically idiot proof, I know even I've used them)

I've got linky 1 fitted and some handguards with strip LED's fitted. The skip drivers seem to notice you (unless they are on the phone ) in fact it's difficult to tell whether they are waving or trying to shield their eyes
The only downside is on quiet unlit motorways I keep getting flashed by truckers

Yes I know there's more than one way to interpret that, and I should perhaps adjust my beam

I wired directly to the battery on the neutral/earth side and I attached the posi to the sidelight circit so its witched on when the side light is on, it means I can ride with the led on and use hardly any power, the led uses about 0.8 of an amp

Is it legal to put those strips in red on the rear?
