I got 2 bags of rollers with my tmax, think it was 16 grams and 18grams, if ya compromise and alternate weights ya have enough for 10k I suppose?

I had a JCosta on my Nexus for 1500 miles, I sold it because that's how long the pin/sliding things lasted. Then went to slightly lighter Dr Pulleys and never looked back, and still use Dr Pulleys on my TMax.

That is terrible!
I've had a jcosta on my mk2 tmax from about 9000 miles. It was fitted by Tmax-group people at a meet in Germany and I've had no trouble with them. Clive changed the weights for me at 15604. I changed the weights again at 22785.
So 6 to 7 thousand miles per set.

All the outer part had worn away and they rattled like hell, I Never change the Dr Pulleys in the Nexus... they were still good after 12000 miles. I am on my first set in the TMax and they don't look worn after 11000 miles.

However I have standard sliders in the variator which I am hoping to swap out with Dr Pulley ones weekend after next.

Funky, what weights are you running now? Even at the same weight, the Sliders will be quicker off the mark, as they allow the two variator pulley halves to move a bit further apart, lowering your initial gearing. Free acceleration improvement!

differential of terms funky calling the rollers as weights and the sliders as the little 4 piece parts that sit in the sides of variators, they tend to wear more when using dr pulley weights as they are forced out more, so worth getting the dr pulley 4 x sliders as well as dr pulley weights :D
I cant seem to remember.. I don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way.

Best performance, but I have heard of reliability issues. Many people prefer them though.

For a while there were counterfeit Dr. Pulley Sliding Weights being sold out of Asia that were horrible, and led to premature wear, etc. The genuine Dr. Pulley parts basically last forever... 8-)
