Good point - £1,000 for only 6 more bhp.....

Am I alone in thinking that in that photo it looks more like the Kawasaki J300 than the Downtown which the J300 is based on?
Or put another way, the J300 is a Downtown with an Xciting style makeover.

I think you're all missing the big picture (no - not that that X10 won, although of course it did), the Xciting has space to put your feet. £1000 or no, that moves it from the 'can't buy' to the 'interesting' category...

Was interesting to see how much they liked the Xmax 400, nice bike. I did sit on one (or the 125cc - I forget) at the MCN show but didn't really 'get it' at the time for some reason.

You must have clown feet if they won't fit on a J-town.

Isn't it more about legs than feet? But I confess to not having sat on either...
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!

Been riding for 55 years & owned too many bikes to list here...

The XMax400 isn't really 'Feet-Forward', lots of foot room 'sit-up-and-beg'... If ya can 'feet-forward' then they 'prolly wouldnt reach the floor... ;-)

Both BMW and Kawasaki have taken on Kymco stuff. Engines for the BMW 600/650, the whole caboodle for Kawasaki J300.

So basically, Kymco is trusted. I think Sym are also pretty good nowadays but I would personally place them slightly behind. But let's see what the owner experience with the newest Sym, the Maxsym 600 is like - I suspect it will be largely trouble-free.

Yep they look good - maybe trying a little hard with all the angles - I have the same feeling about the new XMax compared to the older ones...
400 Xciting with the 700 engine, would be err.... Xciting!
