Went for a wee blast on the bike this morning stopped at nairn which i know a few guys from here have been to :-)

Thought i seen meldrew there lol, i should have stuck a copy of the big issue under her arm :-), it was pretty bracing down on the beach, if you go at the right time the dolphins come pretty close in and put on a show and there is a pretty nice wee cafe that does proper rolls in sausage (square ones not the crappy link ones):-) and nice black pudding rolls

No good telling us about a sandwich without a photo :D :D .We stopped at Girvan on way back in car last year wife fancied black pudding so brought some on way sat on a bench by the beach cooked it on stove on footpath .Nice sunny day which was nice as it had been changeable up your way wife still goes on about it now. :D :D :D

Cant find black pudding photo have cooking sausages on Isle of Wight and tea and toast at Inveraray also jaffa cake ice cream at Kyle of Lochalsh if thats any good :lol: :lol:

Bet thats got you in the mood for black pudding, haggis and tattie scones julian, my parents used to take us on day trips to girvan when i was a wee boy, not been in years

The road from Girvan to Stanraer is nice run if its nice people tend to miss that part of Scotland out but coast road or tourist route from Dumfries to Ayr via Girvan is a nice run .Im up for Haggis any time :lol: :lol:

I've discovered that Iceland do a version of the square sausage slices, and the butcher opposite them makes a passable black pud. The local Morrisons even sold Halls' "Scotch" pies until recently! I miss them still. :) My cardiologist would kill me if he knew, he makes enough Scots and heart attack jokes as it is! :lol:
