Burgman limited paint colours

Post by ba249k »

Can anyone help?
I have a 2012 Burgman AN400ZA L2 Limted edition.
The colour is Blue metalic paint but according to my paint code this is coming out as Grey ???
Surely I am not that colour blind!
Does anyone out there know the limted edition colours?
And their codes?
The code I have is JEZ - Pearl Moonestone Grey.
Thanks Baz

Yep, mine is the same as yours. My dealer tells me the factory paint sticks are not yet available but should be soon. Most bodyshops can mix it by the litre in two pack form but its not suitable for home use. The actual paint code escapes me but I think you are correct with JEZ. I'll check my manual later to confirm.
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!

Been riding for 55 years & owned too many bikes to list here...

Does yours have a Black lower panel like below?

I think JEZ is the colour combination for Pearl Moonstone Grey and Glass Sparkle Black

Individual colour codes are....

Pearl Moonstone Grey YWC
Glass Sparkle Black YVB

And yes the Pearl Moonstone Grey does look Blue, it is used on the GSX1250.....

I will check my paint formulation software and im quite sure it will be available in a water based base coat and then an acrylic clear over the top .

Chips Away managed to get paint of the right colour without any problems when they repaired scratches after a spill last year. So it must be available from Suzuki, although it might be trade only.
