Re: Summer Gloves
I bought some mesh ones last year. Fooking brilliant. Don't know what make. I'm pissed. Red wine. After the white ran out. Hic.
Edit: Why does it say 9.30. It's 8.30

Re: Summer Gloves
I have the older version of these Held summer gloves and they are the best I have ever had, they are just so comfortable to wear on a long run on a summer day. In fact I love Held gloves my winter ones are very impressive. http://www.getgeared.co.uk/held_motorcy ... tegory=147" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Summer Gloves
I'm always hunting for the perfect glove - tell us what you get.
I've got
Spada Elites - perforated leather, kevlar lined. Good and reasonable price. Kevlar stitching which seems a bit dumb, kevlar doesn't give and might cut through the leather in a smash? Will also weaken where it is exposed to sunlight
Alpinestars 365 Extrafit - amazing but ridiculously expensive. Cool/breathable to wear and Gortex lined. Best I've owned, possibly perfect as long as it is above about 15 deg.
Lewis leathers - overlapping leather plates with fabric/mesh sides to fingers. Keep hands very cool but I don't really trust the fabric to stand up to an off. Might use the armour from them to reinforce something else
Held are very good but dealers are few and far between

Re: Summer Gloves
i seem to have various winter gloves, tri finger ones i bought dont like, and seem to just use the oxford bone dry i have had for a few years in winter.
now weather better, just got out my favorite summer gloves, frank thomas leather full gloves with lovely red velvet lining.. still in perfect nick cant remember when i actually bought them late 70`s early 80`s .
i also have my 1979 frank thomas B52 leather pilot jacket but that is too heavy for me to wear daily

Re: Summer Gloves
I bought these last year and as we had a mild winter I did not switch to my winter ones. Very comfortable.

Re: Summer Gloves
I got this pair a couple months ago. I love them. We've had 32c the last couple of days and they worked wonders.
