Well, it's been a lovely (if short) time of scooter ownership - but "Bod" has to go.

Kelly has taken so well to pillion that we are racking up some major miles and need a more "mile munchy" vehicle.
Found a 650 Bandit with just over 1500 miles on the clock and a super comfy seat for both of us. The excellent storage we have gotten used to with the J300 will be taken care of with a Givi top box.

Thanks for all your help and support - ideally I'd keep "Bod" as well as the Bandit if I had the money to do so. I will keep in touch however and you never know, I might be back.

Ah, I could have possibly done a deal with my B650, as I'm the opposite, I now do very little mileage and rarely carry a pillion.

Good luck with the Bandit Larry. Lovely bikes! You must stay as anonstarter says, give us some feedback on the Bandit. Anyhoo...I reckon you will buy another scooter after a period of time with the Bandit. Good though they are, there is so much good stuff you will miss about a maxi scoot. Just get a bigger one than Bod!

Thanks Data, yes I know you're right and I'll certainly miss the ability to use 90% of my brain to actually enjoy the journey (as opposed to the clutch, throttle, which of the six gears am I in? etc)

Sorry to hear lad, you always miss what you had when you change, you have something new now which is always different, and hard to get back again. Embrace what you have I'd. Say, they are designed to be happily revved, cheat to insure,tax and fuel use good too, but whatever you do be happy

Bandit is a great bike and good value for money, had one in 2007.

I would like to reiterate as has already been said that you don't get to leave just because you bought a geared bike, a few on here have motorbikes, we have one admin that has a motorbike (DougL) and another one (JohnP) that hasn't ridden anything but his wife for two years or more!
