Re: Daelem 250 S3 Advance
Last June i traded my Sym gts in for a Daelim S1,i was so happy with the bike, that in October i also bought a Daelim S3.The S3 so far has been great, but due to my wife not being able to walk any more i've not been able to do any long rides. The S3 handles very well,no ABS but brakes are very good, under the seat will not take my helmet,so fitted a top box.I do not like the keyless feature and with the led daylight running light's,i do not think the headlight needs to be on all the time.Like the petrol fill,no problem with flow back, just take your time.Happy with both bikes so far,Motogb been ok.

I'd read differing stories on that. I'd find it pretty annoying not to be able to fit a helmet under there - as far as I can see from the photos its not a small space either.roygib wrote:under the seat will not take my helmet,

@roygib To clarify, what S3 are you referring to S3 125 or S3 Advance 250?

Re: Daelim 250 S3 Advance
Thanks for the clarification. That's a bummer then, if you can't fit a ff helmet under the 250 seat, my 125s the same but I was expecting a 250 maxi style to offer that feature.roygib wrote:I bought a S1 125 and a S3 250 advance.

It may depend on the make, model and size of helmetbornagainbiker wrote:Thanks for the clarification. Re: Daelem 250 S3 Advance
You definitely can fit an ff under the seat, I've seen a video of it on Youtube, but it depends on the helmet, not all will fit.bornagainbiker wrote:That's a bummer then, if you can't fit a ff helmet under the 250 seat
Same story with many scooters.

Drop me a pm and I will answer your questions!bornagainbiker wrote:After GNs favourable comments about this model in other posts I thought I'd start a new topic.
I had never heard of this brand/model so I searched for more info. It definitely looks the job and I was very tempted last week to buy it but the brand, dealer and warranty were questionable although technically there is a small dealer in my area that holds no Sym or Daelim stock but obviously registered with the parent company Motogb. I sent an email 3 days ago to @daelim.co.uk (Motogb) asking a few questions about the dealer, warranty and parts availability but alas not a squeek out of them as yet.
Would be interesting to know what others think?
