I've just had a shuftie at the advert. In the text it talks about the 15% improvement in fuel economy and the improvements made in 2013 but the bike is described as the K3 which is think is the older model. It's still a good buy at £7k but a bit naughty advert wise.

K3 as 2003? I can't see that on any of their adverts? 650Z L3 and then LZ3 is an error.
Here is one of their ebay adverts also.

2013 model pre registered. Reduced resale value in future compared to buying an L4 2014 model plus one extra owner on V5 though these days so many are pre- registered I don't think buyers mark down value for it.

I think there were some small changes for 2014 that will not be on the 2013 bike. Can't remember what they were though!

Other point, it is only a good deal for me if the dealer is local. If anything goes wrong I want to turn up at the supplying dealer with whom I have an ongoing relationship, not a dealer who may be Suzuki but has no interest in me or my bike.

Wouldn't stop me asking my local dealer to match it though!

Just want to chip in regarding the local dealer aspect. For me it's absolutely key to the whole thing. Not just the initial deal, although as I do a lot of business with them the deals that we strike are very good, but the support and back up. Most importantly though is that I trust the quality of the work done by the technician's that's my main ares of concern as cut it anyway you want but effectively it's my neck on the line. I know the guy's at B&B in Lincoln very well and trust them implicitly and that just adds to the pleasure of the bike. A few years ago I bought a used 400 Burgman which had been serviced by a main dealer not local to me. It was appalling in fact it was bloody dangerous. Now I know someone will say the best policy is to do your own maintenance and that may well be right for you apart from keeping it clean and very basic stuff I would prefer to have a professional look after mine.

This'll be the same Bolton Motorcycles that are selling most of used SYM scooters on the SYM UK website.
That's the one Meldrew, they told me no demo on the Maxi-Sym 600, so I've lost interest in it. I'll see what i can wangle on my Part Ex Silverwing. Then go to Robinsons at Rochdale and see if they can better it ;)
