Funky, on my second NC now a NC750 X DCT, the first a NC700X Manual.
Great bikes, since I collected my new one I've done 1100 miles in a month which is a record for me!
Fuel economy is fantastic, 80-90mpg is within reach if you are restrained.......
Three models to choose from but they all share the same engine and chassis.
Integra is the scooter version but the storage is a joke, won't even take a Helmet....
S Model is more suited if you are short in the leg.
X is adventure styled and better if you are taller.
The engine is low revving (6500rpm Redline) and some bikers just don't get it.......
The seat on the X is not the best but there are replacements available.
Do check if you look at the 750 version to make sure that it is rideable on the Auto Licence.

All DCT Hondas are classed as autos for licencing porpoises.

Funcky the only issue with getting a mana is having a dealer who knows what they are doing and then doing it correctly at service or replacement part time .They are great bikes and most issues was with the early models .If you are looking at spend £ you can get NOS mana for a good price .Servicing is not a real pain and not that expensive either if your doing it yourself. The honda`s are better built and more frugal and raved about all over the world and unquestionably better back up , I would just ride one back to back ,your heart would say the mana due to its great engine,brains will say the honda .I found the honda bland motor wise .

Ive had 2 nc's , an integra and a mk1 t-max, comfort is an individual thing, what might be comfy for you might not suit someone else. Out of these four I think I enjoyed the t-max more. Smooth, comfy (for me), fast, handled, good for luggage, and good weather protection. The big nc factor to consider though is great mpg.
Have a test ride on a nc dct funky, you need to have a ride on one so you can compare.

Hey Funky, I got my Mana off Alan July last year 9000miles on it. Now on 22k and still love riding it. Servicing isnt really a problem. I had the 12k service done at J & S but the rest done by myself as I get the parts cheap from work. Belt change has to be done by a garage because of the specialized tools. Via moto did mine 3 hours labour plus belt. Around £240. Just put some tyres on too last weekend at £230.

Storage is great too I can get my Large caberg duke in no problems. Also with a shad 46 top box and offical aprilia side panniers make it an ideal tourer. (It's been to Belgium twice now)

Get around 39mpg as I can't take it out of sport mode

76 horsepower which is great too. Nothing has beaten me at the lights yet.

If you were closer you could have tried mine but would recomend tring one first.

The belt can be done without the specialist tools its just the resetting of the pointomiter that needs there software to reset so it uses the ect on the variator correctly when selecting gears .

If you go to the AF1 site usa forum theres loads of things related to the mana along with all the scare stories etc .Theres some very simple modifications to improve performance along with some rather tricked up ones .There`s one fellow on there with over 100k miles on his mana and still going strong .Your mpg seams a bit low even if your ragging it about .
