Ripped " Eer! took the front off ready to paint the other front panel, fixed a couple of broken screw tabs and made a couple more for the rear under light panel. I will glue them in tomorrow. Humped the rear wheel onto the mill and removed the broken ABS ring screw, re tapped the hole.
Will get the lad to paint the panels and chuck some glitter in the top coat, rear wheel has to come off and tyre removed ready to fit t new wheel after paint. A good days work.

pulled the inner front panel off to get the radiator out more easily as the fan was duff, Den gave me a fan unit for it. Wrong one! the three mounting tabs snapped off whilst undoing the bolts.
Made one fan from the two now need to make some new mounts, trouble is the rad is Ali.
Another good days work.
Ow! adjusted the tick-over on cold start as it was way too high.

Pushed the Fusion outside while I put the newly-relined brake shoes and freshly-shod wheels on my Voskhod

Made some fan mounts for the radiator and fitted them, re-installed the Rad and filled with coolant---no leaks.
Had to make the fan out of two units..put new connectors on the wiring to the fan.
changed the oil and filtre,,,rear wheel off next.

Re: What have you done to your Scooter today?
rear wheel out and stripped down, will go to the garage and use tyre machine to remove the tyre. had to drill out the cap heads that hold the speed sensor ring in place, sand blasted and painted it and took the bend out of it. I also rubbed down the replacement rear wheel ready for paint. I need to buy a 90deg valve for the rim. New bearings and seals arrived, fitted a 12volt out let to the front panel and made a satnav ball thingy...Anon.
