Hi all pretty new to all this but am getting desperate. The exhaust on my 1999 burger has a hole and is blowing like a good un - the dealer want £500 for a new one. The bikes not worth much more than that !!! Have I got a cheaper option ? Sorry bout the "needy" intro. Cheers

Thanks chaps. Didn't realise when I bought it that it would be such a pain for parts. Other than that it is absolutely perfect for my daily commute. And yes sorry it is a 400.

Don't be tempted to buy the cheap no-brand stainless ones flogged by Paul Smeeton et al on eBay - they're cheap but they only fit where they touch. These look like they belong to a different bike, sticking out beyond the back wheel. Mine needed a coke can shim to make the downpipe to silencer joint fit anything like - absolute shite.
