Coolant change to a 5 year type, flush with 8 litres of water before hand as I was going from green to red.

Checked tyre pressures and gave her a wipe down for the Pie and Mash ride tomorrow :)

Apologies for the dirtiness, she's getting a wash later.

Stripped the Tmax down today. I wanted to check the V belt as it has a full service history but no reference to what as been done. Belt looks brand new. Also fitted my £9.99 alarm.

Tmax belts will still look new after 12000 miles of use, did you measure it?

There's only a 1.5mm tolerance, 32mm fresh, down to 30.5mm limit.

No I didn't, the whole thing looked in mint condition and no black dust inside from belt wear. Its at 18500 with full service last one done about 17500.

In the last service they may have looked and cleaned the case but not measured or changed.

This morning I lifted the n/s foot mat and fitted a penny washer under the front allen screw to secure the plastic tab which had parted company instead of holding the underpanel on.
Last week I fitted a "mudflap" which goes in front of the rear wheel to keep all the road dirt off the rear of the engine cases and upper parts of the swingarm. I also painted "Waxoyl" over all exposed metal.. :(
