Theirs were still the cheapest when I ordered my new Conti. True I probably wouldn't have got a puncture, but I'd most likely be in a hedge somewhere between here and Shell Island

Wife prefers Vespa and I'm torn between riding Vespa in St Tropez at Vespa rally or riding the cn in Normandy with the Ugly Bunch .Tough decision can't do both .

Pulled the motor out of the 650burger, ripped the clutch and CVT out of it for a long look at.. Primary shaft is cooked along with the primary drive gear/bearings/seals..P gear bearings are a complete motor strip to get at them so it will be up to the dealer if they want me to do it...Rear wheel
bearings are knackered also.. It has defo been apart before as a few internal parts are marked and one or six new bolts fitted where it is only possible to reach them when the CVT is out...in short it is a cock up by some body in-order to get rid of...I'm not paying for it though
the primary pulley had been put back in with out the correct shims, so lots of metal to metal contact has occurred :o
priced a Suzuki oil seal for the CVT at £38 :o they must be having a laugh  £9 delivered from simply bearings.. 24.95p for a clutch cover gasket from Suzuki WEMOTO price £ 13
After all this no indication as to why it was lugging at 60mph getting red hot, well not from inside anyway...so i went back to basics and yes the thermostat is stuck closed  I did ask what they wanted me to do honest  No fault codes recorded as they dropped it off with the battery out of it. :( i am betting it was over heating and the ECU was putting it into limp home mode...we will see after i get it back together..
a good days work me thinks.
Lyn.

Blimey! That's a bit of work there eh Lyn?
It's always more of a pain following up where someone else has already had a go!
Good luck with it.
