Hello everyone on Maxi muppets,i first signed up in 2014 when I bought a maxsym 600i abs.I posted a couple of short pieces and then got ill and rode a lot, then rode less and got better, now riding and keeping reasonably good.
The scoot has just gone in for it's 3000 mile service (actually 3750 miles). Everything o.k.and am averaging 60m.p.g. during those first miles I only had to add approximately 50cc of oil. So I am well pleased.
The ceo loves it and we have had several good runs, most recently up to Meadow Hall shopping center near Sheffield, then up into the peak district. 220miles.
I don't know if any of you have noticed or whether it's just me, but when you get onto the joining ramp of the motorway two up on a scoot, how some of the ungodly look at you as if you shouldn't be there, then look even more baffled as you smoothly move into the centre to overtake at full motorway speed.
Like putting a turbocharged donkey into the grand national!
Anyway it can pull 90 easily two up, with some in reserve, the rear shocks I keep soft because of the ceo's back but the handling is precise and wallowing is minimal.
One of the nicest differences between the scoot and our old 1400 is the handbrake.
Anyway I'm off for now as my dinner will be in the cat.
I'll be back.....
Long awaited return

Yeah had my share of funny looks on the fast lane with 'er indoors on the back on the Xevo, especially as she would wave at them sometimes!
