Ive just been droolong over honda's website , anyway,, with the sh 300 release being close and knowing a few of us on here are ex sh300 owners. I was wondering given the choice of buying a new honda 300 ( not downtown,joymax,ect) which would it be, the resurrected proven sh 300 stepthrough, or the forza maxi. I know the forza has had its fair share of recalls , but GN2 and other owners still think they are great scoots. The comparison section on the honda site gives both very similar spec, only the forza is a bit heavier.

When i got the SH125 rather than a PCX or Forza it was because i wanted a commuter not a mini maxi...
The SH with bigger wheels and smaller plastics and maybe that little more agility in traffic... 1600 miles so far
Do you want a gutsy commuter or a mid-ish size maxi?
If i knew that a new SH300 was coming i may of held of on the SH125, and chopped in the Xmax 400 instead of the CCM, oh well!

SH has bigger wheels, Forza has bigger fuel tank (bigger range)
SH has bigger wheels, Forza has bigger fairing (keeps the weather off surprisingly well + better road presence)
SH has bigger wheels, Forza has bigger glove box (with a lock and can fit a bottle of wine)
SH has bigger wheels, Forza has bigger wheelbase (more stable?)
SH has bigger wheels, Forza has bigger dash (with more features)
SH has bigger wheels, Forza has bigger headlamp (with two bulbs always on)
Forza Thai built, SH Europe built.
Both have the same utterly shit rear caliper location.
Buy the one what suits your personal needs/desires best.
Rode my Forza today after a month off due to shit weather and it felt great.
Despite the warranty repairs and fuel pump recall its a good scooter, but if my dealer hadn't given me free loaners it would probably have been gone by now.
Think I'll keep it till its about five years old, I would like to get it up to 50,000 before selling it, more than halfway there already.
I had the previous SH300i ABS and it was really nippy, handled well, filtering through London traffic was easy as it was so slim, did a 40 mile each way commute with no problems BUT I couldn't stretch out to my complete satisfaction - nonetheless I liked it a lot.
Had a test ride on the Forza and it pulled away quickly up to 50mph and the engine felt nice and smooth, it reached 70mph and a little more but that took a while to get there, it felt good on smooth main roads but for me over bumpy, undulating country roads I felt the bumps - I bought a Kawasaki J300 instead but that's another story.
I would wait and test the new SH before making up your mind ... that's my fourpenneth

I have not ridden either of these bikes however I personally would opt for the high wheeler SH300 - the latest incarnation has daytime running lights and keyless ignition - just add a topbox and screen and your good to go
Having had both in the past my preference would be the SH300. Both are capable machines and I have toured both Scotland and Cornwall with them. In my opinion the SH300 handled better was quicker. The Forza was comfier and had better built in storage. As mentioned in an earlier post adding a top box and decent screen turned the SH into a great all rounder!

what a surprise marks after another scoot already....lmao. the forza is great an you don't notice the weight as it's well placed , in my case on the seat .....but you have had the sh300 before at least twice i think so obviously like that one ? for me i like plenty of stoage to stuff things when you go out ..rather than having to use bags / rucksacks. and i prefer legs forward , which keep my knee's happier ...

Then I bought it the Honda sh 300i.How you sat on that seat doing Scotland and back.Your arse [Roadrunner] Must be built better then mine.
Of all the bikes and scoots I have owned,it had the worst seat I have ever sat on.
I Couldn't even go to Box Hill the short way,with stopping,when it was stolen,i bought my 2nd Hona sh 125.Now so much better, went to Box Hill the long way,and one day ,kept going.
