Hello Everybody
Hello Everybody
Hello, just joined up. Looks like a really good forum. I've not long had an x-max 250 - 6 months and 2500 miles or so. I didn't do too much research before getting it (really fancied a t-max, but was afraid to spend too much in case scooters weren't for me), but have found that it's been pretty much perfect for my commute. I'll have a few questions for other parts of the forum (first up will be the best place to get replacement fork seals) but just wanted to say hello for a start.

Re: Hello Everybody
welcome lad, just jump in and ask away, i do

I cant seem to remember.. I don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way.
Re: Hello Everybody
Cheers folks. Once I start finding my way round the forum I'll start making a few posts. Got my fork seal ordered up from Fowlers yesterday - found some posts mentioning them, so thought I'd give them a go to start with.

Re: Hello Everybody
Yep fowlers gave a craking parts site for diagrams etc, also check out the yamaha site, you can download the owners manual, and some good diagrams for things like panel removal...
Re: Hello Everybody
Yes - the diagrams are brilliant - really useful. I liked how you can just put in you reg no and it'll come up with the relevant stuff. Haven't removed any panels yet for anything but when I do, having learned the hard way, I'll be double checking for all the screws / fasteners / clips etc - so the diagrams should keep me straight there as well.
