I need to replace the original Bridgestones on my 2015 650.
I am looking at the Dunlop Scoot Smarts. Does anyone have any other recommendations?
Thanks

I am on Burgman 650 number five and have always had the Bridgestones fitted when tyre change was needed, never had any issues.

How many miles does one get out of a rear tyre on a 650?

Re: Tyres for 650
Getting a new rear tyre put on the Burgman Saturday 15 July booked in for 2pm,got just over 6k miles on the old tyre,i'll stick with the Bridgestone Battle axe,When the dealer(Wheels Peterborough)did the 4k miles service they snapped the fenda extenda,so they are going to sort that as well.

***nearly 6k miles***
I never had more than 3.4k out of a rear on any of my burger 650's and 1800 was the one that slowed me down

Re: Tyres for 650
LOL, reminds me of when I went from my much abused Faser 600 with touring tyres that gave me 14,000 from a rear to the Z750 that came with some super sticky tyre (BT14 ?) that only lasted 2,800 miles. The tyre place said thats not bad for one of those, trouble is that was less than 5 weeks use for me.kayz1 wrote:***nearly 6k miles***![]()

Going to have a chat with my mate who is manager of the local ATS Euromaster to sort out some new grippy stuff for the Burg prioritising max distance over grip

Bridgestone Battlax seem to be wearing well on the normally tyre hungry Silver Wing
