Hi, John from sunny Essex signing in. I have taken the plunge and am now the proud owner of a Burgman 650 Executive. I have been riding since 1966 and for the last 12 years I have ridden Pan Europeans ST1300s, putting 180,000 miles on my last Pan, purchased new in November 2009. My first impressions of the Burgman are good and I am loooking forward to using a few more revs after its first service next Wednesday.
One thing that will change soon is the horn! The original is useless and I will be looking to install a Stebel Nautilus-type horn asap, as I did with the Pan. Cheers.

Welcome John
Was it your son trying to sell your last pan online *though TBH high mileage pans aren't unusual* as they are a good solid bike though I preferred the ST1100.

Re: New Burgman 650 Owner
I brought a new black Burgman 650 exc from Apha motorcycles a few years ago, also had a couple of Pans, been riding since 66.
The Burgman is much improved since my K9 model, and they are a good touring bike. Enjoy.
