The annual x9ownersclub.co.uk weekend is coming soon. On the Saturday 18th May we'll be doing a nice run during the day taking in some nice places and food around the roads between Telford, Ironbridge and the Shropshire Hills. Got about 15 of us going so far.

If you like to join us the start point is White House Hotel, Muxford on the A5.

Arrive 9.45 or earlier for a 10am departure. Empty bladders and full tanks.

I think You’re being very generous “Lad” but as you say should be a decent route from Bob,he’s pretty efficient and has put himself out for us geezers,may well buy him a pint or half a pint

Just a little bump as its in the ugly bunch area, all are welcome. We are staying at the above hotel so more than welcome to stay over with us on the Fri and/or Sat night or just join us for a meal and drinks.

You missed a cracking 110 mile ride around the Shropshire Hills including the Long Mynd.

Yep.....Mottza said it,cracking ride on the Saturday,good going up the long Mynd,mist spoilt the view,nice roads,found a very good tea rooms,lovely scones,jam & cream........sorted out a nice route to get us there,even reversed for the homeward journey,good to see a couple of faces from MM there....

I'm going back to the Long Mynd when I have a little bike in Birmingham. Its an area of outstanding beauty, so needs visiting when good weather permits.
