backwards
I think I know the answer to this but just to make sure as I don't know how the transmission works, can I do any harm pushing it backwards with the engine running. It just seems easier to push that way, I assume not.

Re: backwards
So long as its not over idling yes, that said if it were over idling then you would likely not be able to push it because the clutch would be engaged.

Re: backwards
Am i understanding this correctly ?, the 650 is easier to push backwards(reverse) with the engine running ?, i just assumed it wouldn't move backwards once the engine was started, i assumed the transmission would engage.
If this is the case it may well put the 650 back to the top of my "want to buy" list, with reference to my other post in the Maxi area.

Beetle, don't get too exited it's only a little bit easier. I seem to remember being told that the 2013 and onwards are easier, mines a 2012 model.

Re: backwards
Thanks knight2, ok, actually it was a '13 model 650 that i tried maneuvering to test the weight & it felt a bit hard to push, (more effort needed than our now departed FatBob) , felt a bit like the brakes where binding slightly.
