I wonder if one or other of the 2 Forzas you have owned, scootabout, had been "treated" to replacement springs? This assumes progressive rate springs are available each end of course. Also, different make and age/mileage tyres may give you a different ride quality too.

White Power? No wonder they changed it to WP! Austrian or otherwise.

The first Forza I bought new and did about 15K on it. The replacement is also a 21 plate, but has done 13K.

Thanks for everyone's input. Hagon may well be the most suitable choice for me and I'll order some after the holidays :-)

Got these on the back of mine

It’s still a twin shock scooter but they’re a decent improvement on standard

Hi Leadfarmer

That's interesting! What's your riding style/use like, please?

Thanks for sharing.

All the best,

Hi Scootabout

Use the scoot for commuting, one up, although I’m fairly heavy :| I have another bike for touring
The standard shocks used to bottom out regularly,
The YSS have a stiffer spring, although I don’t know the exact rate, they sell them with 2 different springs in the box in Asia but I think you just get the stiffer one in Europe
I’ve got the preload almost at its minimum and they are good for me like that, only bottom out on the rare occasion I have the wife on the back

I do ride fairly sporty but not like a pizza delivery boy
