I have just phoned them and they have confirmed they have the belt in stock but they are not sure about the rollers. They say they will call me back.

Looks like I can get the belt OK but I have been told the rollers should be changed at the same time. What do you think out there in Maxi-Muppets land?

Had to go to Europe for stock, so going to blow the budget on DHL if the aim is delivery this week 😞

All the Mallosi stuff seems to swamp the search.

I would want to change the lot together, but would go belt only if really pushed.

Wemoto are saying 2 weeks. Could be an MRP/J-i-T answer, but they've never got it that wrong in my experience. Their reputation is based on getting it right.

Got them from your first link. They phoned me back and they have belt and rollers in stock. They will be with me in a couple of days. Though I take on board what you say about just changing the belt I thought I would have both changed to be on the safe side.

I will keep your second link in mind for the future. Also Wemoto.

In my very inexpert opinion, you probably don't need to change the rollers every time you change the belt, though I guess if you find that they are no longer nice round shapes when you go to swap the belt, you'd wish you'd bought new ones! I'd be tempted in any case to put in the DrPulley slider things - may improve performance, but should last a lot longer than conventional rollers.

The new belt and rollers are on their way, but I will think about not replacing the rollers or trying the Dr Pulley next time. I'm not bothered about the performance but if they last longer then maybe.

The service schedule says to change the belt and rollers at 16000 miles, so that's what I'm doing.

Good to hear it's moving.

Wemoto are my first point for parts. Pure independent, success based on reputation, will offer parts from other independents they are sure of. Where I get my Cub parts.

Fowlers. The direct link to the Honda DC in Belgium. If we lose them we lose access to the parts fiche, so for the odd fiver here or there I'll throw them some business. Where I get parts for bikes I might care to argue with Honda UK or their representatives in the shires on warranty.

Honda direct. Used them at least once. Seem OK.

Louis moto. The French M&P. Can have stock.

CMSNL. A nightmare on shipping because they seem to think the fact 51% of people who voted in 2016 weren't Jaques Dolores fans onthe day makes us evil incarnate, but they do hold a massive amount of NOS. They create more spam than Minnesota during Monty Python month.

I avoid E-bay and Amazon like the plague. Double applies to Wemo, AliExpress etc. It's wall to wall knock-off's. If stuck, maybe find a small UK repairer who isn't selling Chinese 125's and shifts a bit extra on E-bay. Simple rule though, if genuine he bought from Fowlers, his trade discount is 35% tops. If they are 50% less it's knock off.

Thanks for the tips. I will bear them all in mind when I next need parts.
