Yes, any ideas on the cause?

FWIW I use suttons for convenience but my local Yamaha dealer is always cheaper...

My dad says it was just the final 50 miles, he was shocked it didn't lock the back wheel. I have been careful not to start to be a boy racer

When I experienced the same problem it caused the the belt to slip (and squeal a hell of a lot!) from a standing start but once the revs had risen it was fine, it was a bit embarrassing at busy junctions around town. I wondered if it had been caused by a previous owner revving the tits off it whilst stationary with the brakes on as I hadn't had it that long when the problem arose and I'd been fairly gentle whilst getting used to the bike.

Having a mivv city gp exhaust doesn't help, when next to a boy racer you HAVE to rev, sorry.

It's better to let THEM get on with the macho engine revving then leave them for dead when the lights change!
