Probably quite good so long as you're moving. But it must be dangerous in a strong wind. And I bet there's some small print somewhere that says you should limit your speed.
Apologies for taking this discussion off-topic.

wind and rain protection on fes givi screen is second to none... didnt really catch the wind any more than standard screen on way home the last few days and its been very windy.

sounds like you need to get out the hacksaw blade and masking tape Alan.

Had a piaggio tall screen on my x8 since it was new in 2007 I carn't see over it but never had any touble in the rain
I put lots of wax car polish on it and rain just foms in blobs and blows off, if its heavy rain I just wipe my left glove
down the side of the sceen, the protection from the wind and rain is great, its just a matter of getting use to it,
I know its not the safest way to ride but not had any trouble as yet.

I took a test ride on a TMax with a large Yamaha touring screen. While it protected me very well the backdraft was very annoying. Plus it looked just awful sitting on the bike.

Probably works fine if you are a basketball player or otherwise rather tall...

I dont know, i kinda like no-screen in rush-hour traffic commuting. Lets you see better; you can reach out and
punch tap cyclists and cars to warn them; less weight above CoG.
I thought it'd be more useful for touring, where it keeps the elements off you in long tours? Not that i've ever ridden much with a screen.
