I thought the X10 could store 2 full face helmets, whilst the Bev could only store 2 open face???

Had a good look around one yesterday. It must have been the grey that put me off cos in the white it looks stunning. Still feel its a bit overstyled but a very imposing scooter. Cant have a ride as the dealer wont stock demos :(

Looking over it I noted a few things. Underseat storage is way bigger than the Xevo but a bit shallow up front. I think overall, the Xevo with its boot might be more useful. The storage pockets up front are a handy size as is the glovebox. However, the 12v socket is buried deep inside so you might need to take stuff out to use it.

Generally it appears very nicely made, certainly much better than an Xevo and as nice as a Bev 350. But, little things like the switchgear operation feel less precise than the Burgman. Also, the rear floorboards feel a bit flimsy. I also noticed underneath that theres little protection from road muck off the rear wheel, the engine etc is going to get filthy. The seat isnt very good, its very narrow compared to a Burgman and not comfy. I felt a bit perched on top rather than sitting in it.

However, for 5k its a bargain but its a big heavy scooter and I have my doubts about just 330cc being enough. Dealer seems to think it wont stay that cheap for long, I reckon he could be right. Just a shame I cant try one out!

Barry, if you can be bothered to get to Walton road garage in Surrey, I think they have a demo X10 available.

From my point of view it offers me nothing interesting over thre Xevo except the ABS so I probably wont try one.
