My rather lovely TMAX is still up for grabs. I am open to sensible offers of course. Barry, are you getting fed up of that Burgman yet???

I have a Beverly 350 ST too... not the first in the country with that, a friend of mine wins that bet.... I bet you I've had it faster{/i] than anyone else in the country though ;) And congrats on your Honda, that rates as a much more sensible buy... :ugeek:

Oh man that's great! Congrats!

We expect a ton of pics when you get it as well as a review when you are ready!

I dig the "kids" argument. I think I'll start using it as well. lol

Nice one YellowMax. Hats off to you for getting a discount off your purchase. There must be a chinese in BMW Motorrads armour these days as in the past, I have purchased two new BMW's and only managed to get a little something off the servicing!
If I may ask, what was it in particular that you didn't like about the GT version?
Yesterday is history, tomorrow a mystery but today is a gift!

Ah, the clutch. I'm worried about the BM clutch as it's a dry centrifugal rather than the TMAX's wet one. It did feel OK on the test ride though.... Hopefully there will not be any strangled sea-lions. :D

It looks too much like a K series. I need to be a few years older to buy that one... Seriously, it has not much extra storage over the Sport once the Flex Case is deployed. I'll be adding a case anyway for long distance work and the leccy screen didn't do it for me. It's also 12kg heavier.

Can you tell me what impressed you compared to the tmax Mark 3.I was thinking of going to Vines in Guildford this week to have a look at one but cannot justify the cost.I know you got a discount but is it 1200 quid better than the Tmax.Got to get rid of the 08 Tmax first.
I might go and try the NC700X this week but weather protection is one of the key things for me.Do you reckon the new BMW has better weather protection than the Tmax?

Anyway enjoy your new ride!
