Details of new Pugs coming out of EICMA.
- Kisbee 50cc gets a 100c option.
- Speedfight now gets a 125cc option, but with only 9hp.
- Citystar 125 (15hp) gets low-power 125 option (10.5hp), 50cc and 200cc.
- Satelis gets 300 (Quasar 278) and 400.
- Metropolis on sale in France in May at less than the equivalent of £7200.
So assuming the official UK website mystery scooters boxes are correct this accounts for all but one 125cc. I am guessing this will either be a Speedfight fancy paintjob or the Citystar 125RS. It looks as though the Satelis 300 and Citystar 200 won't be coming here.

Browsing some foreign language forums it seems that the Kisbee engine changes are actually pretty remarkable. Both the 50c and 100cc are TWO-STROKE.
Peugeot has been playing around for a couple of years or more with a Vivacity 2-stroker which they claimed had massively reduced emissions, by up to 90% over a normal 2-stroker. It looks like they've perfected it.
So maybe the Two Stroke isn't dead yet.

But what about the 'mystery' 400 scoot? Apart from the Metropolis 3 wheeler?

That should be the Satelis 400, I think. It's in the list in my post.
Oh, and the low power 125cc engines are supposed to be supplied by Sym. At least according to one poster on a French forum - I have been following him for a few years and he's always been right so far.

OK I see, thanks. A Satelis 400....I've just done a search, and there are reviews of a Satelis 500 with a UK price quoted! As the website doesn't mention a 500, I presume the 400 replaces the 500??
Possibly a good move....the Satelis is a very good looking scoot, but a 400cc version might make more sense than a 500 as an executive commuter. Will that have a Piaggio engine in, like the Beverly / X10 350 engine???

The Satelis range was 125 (Peugeot engine), 125 Compressor, 250 (Quasar), 400 (Master), 500 (Master492). The 400 was never sold here and the compressor was dropped in the UK quite quickly.
The mk2 range will be 125 (Peugeot), 300 (Quasar 278), and 400. This is a brand new lump by Peugeot and puts out 37hp, pretty much as the old Master 492.

The 400 is all new and Peugeot's own. The 125 is the same as that in the current Citystar and unrelated to any previous engine.
The cheaper scoots in the range seem to be using Sym engines. Bit low on power perhaps, but should last well

Definitely not, Vespa have resurrected the PX in 125cc and 150cc form.
