I have to say that for years after cleaning a bike as part of the routine I put spray grease on the centre and side stands pivots and wipe them over with ACF50

I clean my scoots... but I don't spend hours on it! Since the mk3's stand went rusty, I paid especial attention to the mk4's stand by washing grime off. Maybe that's where I went wrong...
