oh wow! that's given me some ideas! How old was he when he started riding pillion with you? My older one is 6 now and i'm thinking maybe he can start riding with me by next spring... He can reach the footpegs already, just trying to convince the wife that he'll be safe with me

He is 7 now. Take him to school most mornings on the bike. He loves it. I did buy him some decent kit though. Would not take him out without it. I leave the luggage on as well so he has something to lean against.

We used to stay there with the kids years ago. if I remember rightly there's a lot of bnbs in that area and eating places / pubs.
