I might go and try the NC700X this week but weather protection is one of the key things for me.Do you reckon the new BMW has better weather protection than the Tmax?

Anyway enjoy your new ride!
Is it £1200 better than the TMAX? I take it you are using list of £9395 against the list of £8699 for the TMAX Mk 4, that's only £700. Against the Mk3 Tach max, it's £850 more - are you using the GT prices? ABS might be worth that bit extra? I know for sure that TMAX 530s are in very short supply. My local dealer has access to only two of them until 2013. Weather protection is about the same, I think. The screen on the sport is better than the TMAX.

Lots of them to be seen in Aberdeen now though, they know a good bargain when they see one up here in the birthplace of copper wire ;)

Where do you hail from then? My family's from Edinburgh... You're right about the PCX, I've found myself recommending it loads of times. It's a fine wee scoot. :D

yellowMax, GREAT! I'm sure you will love it. Just keep posting to let us all know how you get on with it. I wouldn't worry about the dry clutch either. Most dry clutches are absolutely fine. We are all waiting with baited breath! Good luck... :P

I saw that exact same model and colour in my BMW dealers on Saturday but no GT model to compare. It looks nice but the seat height was a tad high for me and It was the Highline model at about £10,400.
Too expensive for me so for the coming winter I have just ordered a new Hyundai i10 at £6995 on the road, 5 doors, air con, £20 road tax, £160 insurance, 50-60 mpg, 5 years warranty and 5 years roadside assistance.

Yeah, I've had an i10 for over a year now..... tick's most boxes, but not the "stylish and wildly exciting" one
