Well the early interest is positive which is encouraging. I think this destination would be perfect. Not so big we never bump into each other, (once we got into Duxford it was so big I rarely saw anyone else).

Some very good options for a ride out. I would ask Mr Meldrew and Sylar for some help with those.

As we get into next year I will go to the area and seek out some accommodation options. I suspect that we may get more ladys wanting to come next year as York is a very interesting place to visit. I live just over an hour from the city but would probably stay over for the evening meal.

Please keep registering your views so I have some idea of numbers.

Looks like this is going to be popular. I hope we can get the dates right for most. Once the year turns I will start looking for accommodation options. The York area is very good with a range of options. It would be good to see more partners on this one as this area has a lot to offer.

Soon to be this Years Big Meet.

I am more or less settled on Elvington Near York as a focal point. I think we can safely say that within that area there is a lot of sites of potential interest. I am thinking of a Weekends event.

Is any one from the locality or who's familiar with the region willing to get together in the New Year to kick some ideas about?

Looking for Campsites, BnBs etc. Possible eateries, Ride out routes up into the Dales, across to the coast etc.

Hope to hear from someone - anyone - Hello!

I could be interested in this if the date/s are right. I'll watch this thread. Thanks Gerard for raising this.
