Piaggio management must surely be getting slightly annoyed with the sheer amount of Vespa clones being launched. Here's another effort this time from TGB. 300cc... and a design clearly inspired by.....

Re: Vespa Clones
Less cause for annoyance than Citroen's monocoque traction avant's layout being copied by almost every other car manufacturer.

Sweet looking thing I must admit. If Piaggio are sick of people doing clones of their 50 year old style of scooter, then they should design something new!

Re: Vespa Clones
As far as Vespa clones go it doesn't look too bad but I cant imagine there will be too many scooterists queueing up to buy one unless pricewise it substantially undercuts the Vespa Gts.
The Gts holds its value very well and is (reluctantly) accepted on the scooter scene although for many scooterists the only scoot to have is an italian one with a 2 stroke engine and manual gearchange.
Snobbery is still alive and well on the scooter scene ( I have experienced many negative comments about my LML ) but also some positive ones
It's a shame really as we are all in a minority on 2 wheels & should stick together whatever we ride.
