Best TMax screen or lip or X solution for someone 6ft tall?

I made a thread about the Shoei Neotec helmet and how quiet is was. Well that was until I decided to install the stock screen thinking that would improve things even more. Little did I know.
It added air and bug protection but it also added a lot of noise. I don't know what to do, but I got to do something.

If I get the shorter "Sport Screen" I believe there will be much less noise since the helmet's great aerodynamics will work as normal. But there will also be bugs on the helmet.
I read about the Laminar Lip but I don't know how much good it will do to my situation.

Any suggestions?

Well, for me the Laminar Lip is extremely good. I found the standard screen utterly unbearable as it was extremely noisy and caused head shaking turbulence!! (I'm a bit shorter than you - 5'9"). The Lip made a massive improvement for me, though don't rely on the adhesive pads they give you. Not the prettiest thing, but it works.

The laminar lip thing is useless for those slightly taller I'm afraid. What you need to do is fit a Givi Airflow spare screen and clamps to your original screen which will require a bit of drilling of your original screen. It works very well....

The parts you need are:

Part numbers are
Z1963R is both brackets and retails at £14.40
Z1997R slidey screen retails at £38.16

Prices have probably gone up

This Givi extra screen does sound like a safer bet than the Laminar Lip to be honest. Specially considering that both solutions seem to cost around the same.
I should probably ask my local Yamaha for these Givi parts. But do you know of any retailer that ships internationally? Just to be able to compare prices.
Also are there any pics of this Givi screen on a stock TMax screen? Or a guide or info?

@MrGrumpy What did you use instead of the pads? Any pics?

Drill two big holes for the clamps with small holes top and bottom, six holes in total.

The Givi AF screen that is made for the TMAX doesn't work as well.

Plastic nuts & bolts, normally used on number plates. Pics of the Lip or the fastenings? I've only got iffy camera on my low rent mobile phone, so close ups aren't going to be possible..

I had a MRA X-Screen on the standard T-Max screen, it was very good, still a bit of noise but good protection from buffeting. Four small holes had to be drilled to mount it and it comes with a stick on template to do it. The X-Screen has a terrific range of adjustment. I'm 6'3" and found the set up good. I had more problems with legroom though which resulted in me selling the bike.

I'm 6 foot 6 and always have found the sports screen to be the best . Standard on the Mk 3 buffets a lot , none with the sport screen , and it looks better

I also believe/hope it will fit my needs.

I hope it will be here before the end of the month.
