There's actually a brief test of the Integra in the brand new edition of Ride...they actually seemed to quite like it! They themselves admit to bafflement that the N700S they also have at the moment leaves them cold, but they quite liked the Integra! Perhaps the DCT trans works well. £7500 though....is that around £1000 more than the N700X with DCT, for which you get a decent fairing and less luggage space??
There is also an article on the X10 350 - they even like that!

Seen one yesterday at Tillsons in Stockton. Nice finishing but Hmm I was not sure. Mind you they did not even have the key to show customers the under seat storage! and no demo. I think it has a long way to go to beat my Burgman 650 Exec with all the extras.

I was thinking of popping round to Tillstons tomorrow actually - I have a 20% off voucher to spend. I actually had a look round an Integra today (well walked around it in a showroom).
First impressions are that its quite attractive (in red) IMHO. Quite a few little styling cues from the new VFR, though whether thats good or bad I don't know. Also, it appeared surprisingly compact - short and narrow, at least in comparison with the stretch-limo Tmax.
BUT - the step-through seemed to be incredibly high . I think you'd have real difficulty in getting your leg through (didn't try it though). If you have to do the trad bike leg-over manouvre to get on, that would seem to negate the entire point of the thing, and to have lost the dummy fuel tank luggage compartment for nothing! The other oddity was that the Screen sits out in front of the fairing, leaving a gap of around an inch. There is also a vent in the lower screen itself! Now I've no idea whether its been scientifically designed or not, but there's certainly going to be a lot of air flowing into the rider.
So nice, but still not convinced.

It's a big trade off though as you lose the good fairing, leg room & storage of the Burgman and yu have chain drive too.
What I'd like to see is Honda stick that lovely engine in a new Silverwing, now that would be great

When I was at the NEC last year the Honda rep didn't even know the SW-T 400/600 existed

I really liked the comfort of the Silverwing when I sat on it - it was the most comfy scoot on show (including the new BMWs and Burgman 650 etc). It just looks so dated now, especially the dash. The sooner they bring the SW-T 600 into the UK the better, but they've really missed a trick by not slinging the Integra lump in there with it's reasonable power, big service intervals and good MPG.

With the scoots that are out there at the moment I'll probably hang on to the Xevo for another few years until what I talk about what I like is matched by reality! The Integra is overpriced, especially when you add the cost of luggage to it and by the time Honda pulls its finger out to bring the SW-T here that will probably look dated too.Meldrew wrote: Like I said the SW-T is the new Silver Wing whether Honda have missed a trick or not, and I didn't just sit on a Silver Wing I bought one.
