burgman auto electrician / mechanic needed
i recently had a new regulator fitted after the first one started burning. now i have found that the battery is over charging and i will probably need another new regulator and possibly a new generator as well. the regulator was fitted at George ward of Barnsley, who have now closed down. i need to find a honest reliable suzuki mechanic in yorkshire, can any one help ?

I can thoroughly recommend Eccleshill Motorcycles, in Bradford, if that's any help?

I'd suggest an email complaint to Suzuki UK, as they should apply a warranty to your current reg even if the fitting dealer has closed. Gotta be worth an email.

I have my Bike serviced at SMC in Sheffield. Suzuki Dealers. Ive had no problem with anything they have done.
I will ask the Northern Riders who have Burgmans for any suggestions.

I'd get in touch with Suzuki, a lot of there bikes/scooters (2009/10ish) had a recall on the reg/rect, irrespective of warranty.

You probably won't want a generator if the battery is over charging. It's can't over charge if it isn't working properly. It will just be the regulator.
Why not do it yourself, it's only two bolts and a couple of wiring connectors, about as basic as you can get.
