Wow that's sad news, I bought my new Burgman 650 from them 18 months ago.

I can thoroughly recommend Eccleshill Motorcycles, in Bradford, if that's any help?

I'd suggest an email complaint to Suzuki UK, as they should apply a warranty to your current reg even if the fitting dealer has closed. Gotta be worth an email.

I have my Bike serviced at SMC in Sheffield. Suzuki Dealers. Ive had no problem with anything they have done.
I will ask the Northern Riders who have Burgmans for any suggestions.

I'd get in touch with Suzuki, a lot of there bikes/scooters (2009/10ish) had a recall on the reg/rect, irrespective of warranty.

You probably won't want a generator if the battery is over charging. It's can't over charge if it isn't working properly. It will just be the regulator.
Why not do it yourself, it's only two bolts and a couple of wiring connectors, about as basic as you can get.
