This bloke talks bollox he really does, states that its a nice scooter if ya live abroad but not for the cold wet weather of the UK, isn't that one of the main points of having a scooter in the UK coz the weather is shite at best! :?

Phil West. Executive Editor for MCN!

Executive? icon_scratch.gif

"So what is a Forza 300 exactly, seeings we're not completely up to speed with scooters sometimes with MCN..." icon_no-way.gif
"Big mega-scooters..." :icon_finger.gif:
"Luxurious trappings, fittings and fixtures..." icon_icon_twat.gif
"Quite posh..." icon_looking-good.gif
"because half the year it's raining and cold..." icon_rain2.gif

Why does'nt MCN pay someone who can UNDERSTAND the usefulness and attraction of scooters?

Absolutely - the mindless stupidity of bike journos is just amazing.
I presume there's a completely moronic comment about small wheels in there somewhere????

For me, good wind/weather protection is one of THE main reasons I ride scooters and not bikes. (Twist 'n' go and step through design being the other two)!
Paddle harder. I can hear banjo music!

I wrote out a long, ranting reply to MCN but I got timed out and my message disappeared :(

But I feel better for doing it :D
I'll have another go later!

Don't forget, that MCM is just a comic...it's so difficult to take it seriously! Even all my biking buddies think it's a really strange read with all the childish things they say about bikes, and not to mention scooters on those rare occassions when they take one out! They wouldn't know a useful motorcycle or scooter if they were hit by one!
Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!

Been riding for 55 years & owned too many bikes to list here...

Don't MCN realise that every time they say or report badly on a scooter they are losing more and more readers that ride scooters
And surely they must realise that a lot of scooter dealers would not bother to advertise in MCN with negative vibes on scoots.
Total morons
