Head Gasket change on 250 Foresight

Hi All

After numerous investigations by my garage and a change of rad to try and sort out why I was losing coolant, we have established that the head gasket needs to be changed. Does anyone know how much time this would take to do by a garage and whether the engine needs to be taken out?

The bike has done over 42k miles now and I need it to be fixed as I use it for a 90 mile round trip to get to work and back. I can't afford to get a different scoot due to having building work done on the house so, unfortunatley, that's not an option.
