Hey Folks!

New to the site.

I'm on a xmas 400, anyone else on one?

Also in the Hampshire area. Anyone local for a ride?

Robyn is a XMax 400 riding newbie, joined the other day... plus Richard400, mj_jonesy,
how ya finding it? Had mine since June last year - so 6 months-ish and done 4600 miles mainly commuting... and getting about 60-ish mpg
Welcome...
Do a search, already a few interesting posts and info etc...
Engine is Majesty Based so quite a bit of service info available - I found a good deal on air filters...
Post up any useful tips ya find...

http://www.msa-direct.co.uk/yamaha-yp40 ... r-kit.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

3 Air filters and an oil filter... £22, plus £3 P&P - Thats £25! - OE is getting on for £70!
At those prices I plan to do a Change @ 6k miles, rather than a clean - (currentl @ 5k miles)

What sort of MPG are ya getting? - mine has dipped from 65ish to 55ish - the air filters are a bit dirty, but not filthy
Maybe trafic conditions / more commuting (without the w/e runs to up the average...) / winter riding etc...

For Home Service Help... check out teh On-Line Parts Lists and Exploded Diagrams at: http://www.yamaha-motor.eu/uk/services/ ... index.aspx" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
And download a copy of the 400 Maj Service book from 'ScooterTime.net' for engine info and a good estimation for most chassis torque settings etc
