no not that annoying advert for insurance ;) but model designation of a W reg burgman. I keep seeing all these K1 - 9 numbers in mags and on this forum but haven't a scooby what my burgman would be? Is it just a plain AN400 ?

Use what your v5 has as the model? It may be before Suzuki started their decade letter and year identification, If it is just AN400 then I would probably put W Reg and the year after it. FYi if you are unaware a K1 would be 2001, K9 2009 and L0 2010, L3 2013 etc

The "K" code only goes back to 2001

If it is a 1999 model it will be an AN400X
If it is a 2000 model it will be an AN400Y

If you aren't sure which it is take a look at the 10th digit in your chassis no.
