Silverwing mods

As I am always searching for the end of the rainbow, I thought about Dr Pulley sliders for the 'Wing. Has anyone been there, got the t-shirt?

your not alone lad   your stock rollers are pretty hefty 28 x 20 at stock 28gms each x8 if you went for dr P rollers and sliders it would cost you

sliding pieces SP2820-W 20 euros
and the Dr P`s are 49 euros whether you go for 25 or 26 gms then 19 euros shipping so all in all 88 euros, whether you would benefit, im not sure :D

i would suggest staying with the stock rollers and getting the Dr.Pulley HiT High performance clutch HiT282001 at about 300 euros delivered, HERE i am having a hit clutch delivered for the j300 as my 55th B/day pressy so fitted 2 weeks ago dr p rollers, went for same weight dr p weights as they need to be stock weight for the hit clutch to work effectively, cant wait the hit clutch has extra pillow springs as well as the standard springs which enable the dr p kevlar clutch plates to lock onto the clutch bell so you get no slip, according to all my research the scoot will be as if you had a wet clutch if not better :D
I cant seem to remember.. I don't know where I'm going, but I'm on my way.

Meldrew' s not far wrong. I fitted Dr Pulley sliders because i was told that the rollers life was about 20,000mls so, at that mileage, instead of standard rollers i fitted the Dr Pulley sliders. I noticed straight away improvement in acceleration, and about the same amount of fuel was being used. Apart from the givi Airflow screen, the backrest setup and a top box i don't think anything else can improve the bike to any noticeable difference. :)

I agree, too.
I've got the screen, topbox and backrest but the performance is plenty good enough.

Thanks Waldorf, Sylar and the lovely but irascible Meldrew. I bough to your superior knowledge on the matter and will leave well alone until the originals need replacing. Now then what should I do with that cash I've just saved.......

Oddly enough we are off to Brugge in a couple of weeks as foot passengers. We go every year either to Brugge or Amsterdam. P&O bogof offer is hard to beat. I love the chocolate and beer in Belgium, the market is good too, her indoors gets her annual supply of baccy so for her the trip pays for itself times over.

The Koetse Restaurant, Oude Burg 31 (close to the centre of the city), is a great favourite of mine. It's not the cheapest but is just far enough off the beaten track to attract locals as well as more knowledgeable tourists.
Best book for an evening visit. There are very good Lunch deals......at lunchtime. :D

Thanks for the recommendation Waldorf but we're only there for the day and have booked food on the ferry!

Smeghead, what date are you traveling on? SWMBO and I are doing the same trip in (early) October.
