After owning four Burgman 400's over the years (with conventional motorcycles in between) I reasoned that "more must be better" so in March last year I bought a new 650. Not wishing to offend owners of the 650 I must stress that this is a personal opinion but I hated it almost as much as I loved the 400's. I got shot of it after 4 months and bought a Vstrom 650 and cracking bike it is too. However the sheer useability of the 400 is calling me again so my question is has anyone got the inside track on the likely update of the current model.
Geoff.
Here we go again.

Re: Here we go again.
If you like the current 400, get one.
Any new version is not guaranteed to be an improvement over the outgoing model and just because there's a new model the old one doesn't stop being a good scooter.
Case in point the Majesty, an excellent good looking scooter replaced by the fugly Xmax.
You can get a brand new ABS equipped burger 400 for five grand right now on 0% interest over 48 months, so why wait?

Just check out Ebay and Biketrader, some may not be offering the latest Suzuki £1 and 0% over 48 months on new discounted or pre reg scooters. Check the small print.

Its not a good feeling buying a brand new bike only to have a new model come out 6 months down the line !
