Re: year model
Welcome to the site pppe100.
Your bike will be an AN400K6 fuel injected model. I don't think there were any other variants of that bike supplied over here in the UK. In the States it was supplied as a sport 'S' model also, with cut down screen and bare handlebars in chrome, no plastic covers on them. It looked good but really needed a bigger screen to keep the wind off as the 400 Burgmans can cruise at quite a high speed and the resultant blast of wind kills you on a big run. The single disc up front is quite good but not quite so happy at repeated hard stops when fully loaded before fade sets in. Not uncommon for any single disc bike however. The engine's actual size, as you may know, is 385cc as against 399cc for the 2007 model Burgmans onwards. Your machine has a different headlight setup to the latest bikes and the frame is different along with most other bits of the bike being changed on the later models in 2007. But it is non the less very good anyway. Overall it's a great bike. Enjoy!

Probably not ugly enough for the 'Ugly Bunch'!
