According to the weather forecast, daytime temperatures are supposed to exceed 10C for the next couple of weeks, even in our frozen corner of NE England. I have therefore been brave and removed the handlebar muffs from both Tmaxs.
This means that it's Now Officially Spring!
Of course, its still overcast and damp, but its not actually snowing, which is an improvement....

Well it still feels bloomin cold over here NE wise, as of just before 11AM.

I need warmer weather, and a few good salty roads washed off days before I venture out.

Not stopped raining here near Fleetwood for over 24 hours
only plus point it may wash some of the salt away.
1200 miles in the last month so getting out a good bit
but a bit of warm n dry would not go amiss.

Had my "summer" tyres refitted over the weekend. Mostly because I had a puncture in the rear winter tyre, but still...

I am thinking of whether some sort of flotation device would suit the current conditions better.

Not taken off the handlebar mitt fixings yet. I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket.

Sorry folks still too miserable in Scotland - I’m considering leaving the Tucano Urbano muffs on and the Tucano Urbano apron on for my trip to Germany in May
