Hi everyone
Eagerly awaiting delivery of me 350 and I was wondering about a top box.
I have just looked at the Honda accessories and don’t really want a fancy pants electrizical one and the price is ridiculous, plus a new holder. The 35 litre one is a bit cheaper but still loads of money.
I have my trusty Givi 45 litre plain black mono key box I think I’ve managed to fit on the last three of four bikes.
So I was wondering does anyone have experience of fitting a plain old Givi box onto the new Forza.
Cheers
Ian

Re: Forza 350 Top Box
I have a Givi V56 on mine.
I had the rack fitted at the dealers before I collected the bike.
Fitting the rack is quite complicated; there is a Youtube video showing how to do it.

Re: Forza 350 Top Box
I ordered my 300 with a Honda rack and attached a 45L box I got from Amazon (£65 or thereabouts nowadays). The box came with a universal mounting plate to which I just needed to drill a couple of extra holes for it to fit. Easy

Haven't seen an aftermarket rack; but someone on here may know?

Re: Forza 350 Top Box
Thanks guys
Looks like I will have to get the Honda rack then. Shame as I have a great big big of fitting bits I’ve collected over the years.
But I suppose a Heath Robinson on a spankers bike would look a bit pants.
Thanks again for the advice.
Cheers

Re: Forza 350 Top Box
You could always buy a Givi rack/mounting plate, then any Givi box (of right type) will fit on. You are right, Honda top box price is ludicrous.

Thanks
I’ve got the mounting plate, I was more wondering if anyone had fitted anything rather than Forza specific. Even the Givi rack is ludicrously expensive now.
Or I may just be out of touch.
Cheers

Re: Forza 350 Top Box
The mounting-plate on mine is the normal Givi Monokey one.
I chose the Givi rack since all the others seemed as if they might not support the back end of the box properly.

Re: Forza 350 Top Box
I agreed with the dealer that they would fit the Givi rack when I bought the Forza. I would have struggled to fit the rack, as you need to take a lot of the plastic off, etc. This ended up being done at the first service, as they couldn't get the rack (I sourced it myself). The plate fitted on to the rack and the top box I already had. It works well and is far better and cheaper than what Honda want for a plastic box. Even if I sell the scoot, I will keep the box. The Givi rack is quite elegant, but the real rip-off is that Honda don't include their rack as standard, as they do in many countries.
