Hello GP

As a former X10 owner (many years ago) I can't say I had any issues with the brakes. But I do have an electronic copy of the 350ie workshop manual. Its too big to post but I believe it can still be downloaded here:
https://manuals.wotmeworry.org.uk/Piagg ... gio%20X10/

Good luck sorting it out.

Hi , and welcome to the forum.

I'll also respond by saying, sadly not. I always liked the X10's styling.

It really caputured the lengthy, sweeping style of Japanese home market scooters but with a bit of Italian flair.

I've never been in a position to own one, probably until now when all the examples I see are a bit too, "well worn," for my liking. My guess is that the owners of good ones are hanging on to them.

As Waldorf said, if nobody knows here, there will be someone who does on the X9 owners forum.

Good luck with it.

Thankyou all for the welcome and the replies, ill get myself over to the x forum too, im new to maxis, and this one looked really good, they seem to get really good reviews but not msny seem to go up for sale, this ones not mint, but looks honest, 1 owner 16k km, just this asr and abs problem, iv found a manual and a service manual but nothing seems to destibe this issue, the abs and asr flash all the time, as such the asr kicks in and cuts all the power, so i cant recalibrate as i cant get any speed, turn asr off and it goes very well though! Ill have a better look soon just hoping someone else had something similar,
Again, thanks all

Have you carefully tried this recalibration procedure:-
ASR SYSTEM CALIBRATION PROCEDURE.
In order to maintain the effectiveness of the ASR system following the replacement of
one or both tyres a calibration procedure of the system must be performed as follows
on a straight flat stretch of road.

• It is necessary that the diagnostic phase of the ASR systems and ABS is complete:
for this purpose, after the key ON, ride a short distance above 5 km/h and wait for the
flashing of the two warning lights to stop.
• Turn the ASR system off by pressing the button «1» on the handlebar and check that
the ASR disabling warning light «2» is on.
• Allow the engine to idle for at least 3 seconds.
• Press simultaneously the right brake lever, the engine start-up button and the ASR
on/off button «1» for at least 2 seconds. The activation process will be confirmed by
the ASR warning light «2» turning on with slow flashing.
• Accelerate to a constant speed of 30 to 40 km/h and maintain it for at least 7 to 8
seconds.
• The end of the procedure will be indicated by the flashing ASR warning light «2».
• Once the procedure is complete it is necessary to turn off the vehicle panel (key off)
and wait 30 seconds before turning the panel on (key on).
• In case of failure to complete the procedure within 2 minutes the ASR warning light
«2» will stay on steady and the ASR will remain off until the panel is turned off (key
off).
• To restart the vehicle panel (key on) it is necessary to reactivate the ASR. It is however
necessary to repeat the process until it succeeds.

Above is from the owners manual. If it doesn't work something must be wrong elsewhere but if the ABS is working the wheel sensors are likely to be OK.

I cant run this reset procedure as i cant get the lights to stop flashing in the first part, i try to ride and the traction control cuts the power before i get anywhere to let it do the diagnostic, stuck at the very first step!
Need the lights off for the reset procedure but they just wont stop flashing!
So i think its reading an error and just cutting engine power, revs up, move a foot, engine cuts power, and repeat, then if i turn asr off (solid light) it rides fine but abs light continues to flash, ill be going through all the basics soon, sensor distances etc, then ill bite the bullet and get it on a diag at my not so nearest piaggio dealer
Thanks again for the replies

Just to clarify when you turn off ASR the light continues to flash rather than staying on permanently?
