sorry to ask again but i know one of you guys will know

Hi all :) was wondering if any one knew of a way of replacing the seal on the link from the header to the mmuffler. As for some reson not known by me my seal has just vanished leaving me with a nasty not to say ilegal exhaust blow. I seam to remember reading a ready for this but i can not remember ware. Any help is recived with my thanks. :kiss:

Sorry its on a k7 400. And the seal is at the point ware the two pipes meet and are clamped

Good instruction but strikes me that if you are going to all that trouble, fit proper gaskets, don't fudge it with tin foil!
You only end up doing it more often. They aren't all that expensive and will last you years again.

That's for sure. I wouldn't use tin foil either. Hadn't noticed the second page instruction on doing that. Get the proper gaskets.
